A worldwide drought has lasted for years. To escape and protect their families, Bo Jones and his company built a massive compound deep in the woods dubbed Wildcat. Governmental collapses worldwide prompt religious zealots to steal and launch nuclear weapons indiscriminately. Warring factions and nations respond in kind. The Earth enters extended apocalyptic conditions.

Before Wildcat is finished and all family members arrive safely disaster strikes. Bo and his closest partner Kevin suffer horrible losses when desperate thieves hiding at the compound’s front gate kill their wives and children. Relying on faith proved to be an apparent failure.

They retreat from the world and years pass before Bo’s community can safely venture topside. Hoping for a return to normalcy, Bo realizes the immunity from danger he thought was theirs comes into question. Once again, teams of desperate survivors begin appearing at their gates. Wildcat’s inhabitants develop their own steeled resolve after repetitive attacks kill their loved ones.

Guided by the principle that Lost Faith is motivation’s faithful companion, Bo and his team need to discover who is behind the repetitive attacks. Putting the compound’s sovereignty at risk, Bo begins the search for answers that lie beyond the physical boundaries of their compound.
